Note the unusual "flame" figure, caused by the beginnings of a crotch in the tree branch. It affects the lumber strength, but adds to the beauty.
compote
An oak compote, made from a design in "Woodworking" magazine. About 8"" d. x 4" high.
teak
This is teak, a very dense, difficult wood to work. About 6" d.
incense stick holder
A funky litle incense stick holder. Cherry, 3" diameter.
walnut bowl
A walnut bowl with cherry top, and hand-carved walnut spoon. About 3-1/2" high.
